With a vibrant career spanning over 13 years as a physician, I am passionately dedicated to enhancing the mental wellness. As the current Regional Medical Director at Behavioral Health Solutions since December 2023, I lead the charge in clinical operations and service delivery within nursing facilities, ensuring that care is not only accessible but also of the highest quality. My prior tenure at Denver Health/ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition allowed me to tackle some of the most challenging and critical cases, from diagnosis through to treatment, all while working hand-in-hand with a robust team of multidisciplinary experts and community partners. I hold a CEDS certification and am a proud member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation (iaedp), which highlights my commitment to ethical standards and excellence in the field of eating disorder care. My professional journey also includes a dynamic range of psychiatric services (inpatient, outpatient, Psych ER, RTC, PHP, IOP) and a foundational career in general medicine in Pakistan. My areas of expertise are extensive and include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, patient safety, psychiatric emergency response, consultation-liaison service, inpatient care, and telehealth, with a specialized focus on eating disorders. Driven by a mission to improve mental health and well-being, I leverage my diverse, global experience and continuous learning to bring about positive change. I am enthusiastic about the potential for future advancements in mental health care and am eager to connect with individuals and organizations that share a vision for a healthier, more understanding world.
