About Asmita Ghosh

I am a communications and campaigns specialist who works at the intersection of social justice advocacy and digital media. My skills lie in strategizing engaging advocacy campaigns on digital platforms – backed by impeccable detail-oriented research. I also consult for a variety of organisations on their overall communications strategy and workplan and help them engage with their communities more powerfully. I am interested in building processes systems and tools that enable the most effective communication outputs at the resource-level of the organization. I have worked in national and international non-profits as a Consultant Campaign Manager and Communications Manager including Feminism in India Oxfam India Transform Health Coalition UNFPA UNAIDS and IYAFP. A lot of this work has involved making content accessible and useful to a variety of different audiences across geographies and resource contexts. I am currently the Communications Director at NTEN. From developing a video game Instagram filter on health data governance to curating a feminist art repository of anti-GBV imagery for the media to directing an international virtual conference with over 200 organizations participating worldwide – I enjoy work that pushes my limits and has me thinking about how best to deploy the latest tech for impactful comms and movement building. My work encompasses a breadth of skillsets including strategic planning project management donor communications social media engagement and innovation.
