Hello! I’m Asmita Jagdip, and I’m on track to graduate with a Master of Science in Finance in December 2024. My studies are centered on Corporate Finance and Investment Analysis. This role has significantly deepened my understanding of business operations, industry trends, and internal processes. I was selected through a competitive process to join the Bauer College’s Cougar Investment Fund as an Equity Analyst. I collaborate with a team of 16 Equity Analysts to manage a $16 million equity portfolio, enhancing fund performance through data-driven analysis. As an Assistant Manager in the Finance Department for an accounting firm, I managed a $250 million operations budget and implemented cost-saving strategies that resulted in annual reductions of $5 million. I led statutory audits, prepared GAAP-compliant financial statements, and executed tax audits, which significantly improved compliance and operational efficiency.
