About Asmita Kulshreshtha

A lover of all things beautifully crafted and an avid innovator, I believe I have a creatively gifted logical head on my enthusiastic shoulders. As an accessory designer and a fashion business graduate, I walk the fine line between luxurious and commercially viable, dreamy and practical, right brain and left brain, on a daily basis. My passion for design, along with my keen interest in the fast-paced, ever-evolving business of fashion, took me to London for my master's on a full, merit scholarship in 2015. With my belief in the power of interdisciplinary work teams in the creative industry, I possess a 'T-shaped' skill set- I am an expert in design and innovation, with hands-on knowledge in the areas of design management, buying, product development, strategic fashion marketing, branding, communication and social media, gained through my collaborative experiences in the industry. I am a quick learner and always look forward to diversifying my skills, while simultaneously working to better my strengths. In July 2018, I launched my own jewellery label,'The Slow Studio', with the aim to celebrate, revive and preserve the rich craft heritage of India. Within the first six months of its commercial launch, The Slow Studio has already been featured in the esteemed Cosmopolitan India's 'Jewellery brands to watch out for' list, as one of the 12 best up and coming women-led jewellery brands of India (Cosmopolitan India, September 2018 issue)
