About Assma Zaghlool

As a Capacity Strengthening Coordinator at Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, I design and implement capacity assessment tools that support the organizational development and learning of our regional partners. I have over ten years of experience in managing humanitarian programs in crisis areas, with a focus on emergency response planning and localization strategies. I hold a BSc in Orthotics and Prosthetics from the University of Jordan. I also have completed training courses in Knowledge Management, Child Protection, Education in Emergencies, and hostile environment awareness. I am skilled in program management and leading diverse teams. I am fluent in Arabic and English. My mission is to empower local actors and communities to deliver effective and sustainable humanitarian assistance while standing on solid ground apart from conflixt and descrimnation.
