About Astrid Cioata

Astrid is the founder of fashion clothing brand goss. Astrid is passionate about creating a social and environmental change in the fashion industry, which is what inspired her to create her own brand. The brand is centered around creating clothes for women that are crafted out of natural and sustainable fibres, while providing comfort and confidence. With each purchase 1 tree is planted and is shipped out in compostable and recyclable packaging. Prior to starting her clothing brand she was the director of the Spur Fashion Show at Western University, which has allowed her to make a tremendous impact in her community. In 2019 the show donated $16, dollars to Jack.org to support mental health, and in 2020 her team raised $20, for the Canadian Centre of Gendre and Sexual Diversity. During her university career she broaden her experiences in marketing through her internships as a marketing associate at CST Consultants Inc, and at Max Agency as a marketing coordinator. Both of these experience have allowed her to grow my creative thinking, analytical skills, and critical thinking skills as she was constantly challenged in high pressure corporate environments. Both of these experiences were very rewarding and educational as she learned the start to end process on implementing effective marketing campaigns. She hopes to continue her goal of making a positive impact in her community and connect if you want to chat.
