About Astrid Ewaz

Graduated from the faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz as a conference interpreter and translator with the working languages Italian, English, and Brazilian Portuguese, specialising in humane medicine, Astrid also holds various certificates in IT-Management and Cybersecurity by diverse issuing organisations, Digital Transformation from MIT Professional School, a certificate in German legal language from the HfWU Nürtingen-Geislingen, and a certificate for being an Expert in Sustainable Finance by Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Beyond working for international employers as an executive assistant and project manager in various industries, Astrid also founded her translation agency. Before joining ISC3, she worked in the international field as an Executive and Marketing Assistant, Project Manager, IT Responsible and Head of Administration. In 2017, Astrid coordinated and worked in a EU-funded project supporting women entrepreneurs and women business angels. Since 2020, she has been organising the ISC3 and partners Investor Forum for Sustainable Chemistry solutions, and ISC3 at Achema Pulse, Achema 2022, and Achema 2024. The 5th ISC3 Investor Forum took place as an official side event to the World Chemicals Conference/ ICCM5 in Bonn, Germany. The 6th Investor Forum in 2024 was held at Impact Festival Frankfurt at Forum Messe Frankfurt the next IF25 coming up on November 26th, 27th, 2025. Since 2019 Astrid is striving to transforming industry world wide towards more sustainability via the ISC3 Innovation Hub, financed by BMUV and UBA. Proven work experience of more than 15 years. Strong interest in life sciences, new technologies, cybersecurity, fintech, policy, entrepreneurship, investor relations and economic affairs. Excellent presentation, communication, organisational, management and planning skills as well as the ability to multi-task and determine priorities. Proven experience within complex structures and matrix organisation, very good technical skills. High affinity with electronic tools. Collaborative work style, cultural sensitivity, flexibility and ability to work with executives and colleagues from various nationalities. High level of ownership, determination and self-motivation with the ability to adapt to a quick changing environment, reliable and committed personality with a high integrity to deal with confidential information. Fluent in German, English, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, good skills in French, good understanding of Spanish.
