I am an experienced Head of Technology with over 15 years' experience in the ICT Industry and expertise in leading digital transformation, strategic vision, innovation, and growth for organisations across multiple business sectors. I excel in building and leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies. I enjoy working with other leaders and experts to solve complex business challenges creatively. I love using technology to create value and drive growth and aligning business strategy with process improvement, business intelligence and IT Strategy. Constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional development, I currently hold several leadership positions. These include currently serving as - the Chair of the National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) Cyber Security Working Group’s (CWG) Governance Principles Working Group- the Deputy Chair of Catholic Network Australia (CNA): Technology Working Group- the Tasmanian ICT representative to the NCEC Information Technology Working Group, and - a Board Member of Positive Solutions. I am a skilled public speaker with the ability to create engaging, motivational, and uplifting content to effectively resonate with audiences ranging from executive-level professionals to technical and frontline staff. In my personal life I enjoy experiencing nature through sailing, hiking, four-wheel driving, mountain bike riding as well as the more reflective practices of gardening and reading. My current role as CIO of Catholic Education Tasmania servicing students and staff with a direct team of 22 ICT professionals providing Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Enterprise Systems and Business Intelligence state-wide. My passion at work is striving for digital equity across the state and I have the goal of ICT efficiently supporting the improvement of learning outcomes, especially for those in our regional and remote communities.
