Graduate Civil Engineer with more than 22 years of professional experience in the field of Construction Supervision, Materials Engineering, Quality Assurance and Quality Control. He is experienced in Geo-technical design & investigations in Highway Construction and is an expert in selection and testing of suitable materials for Flexible and Rigid pavements of Highway and Bridge Construction projects India, Ethiopia and Bangladesh. He has experience in projects funded by international financial institutions viz, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank, JBIC, Exim bank etc. implemented under FIDIC Conditions of Contract. His experience on road projects ranged from material investigation of soil, asphalt and concrete; Design of Job Mix Formulas (JMF) for Bituminous and Concrete/PQC works, Has experience in PQC laying by Slip form Paver; monitoring activities related to both field and lab testing of road construction materials and borrow area soils and ensure compliance with Technical Specification & codal provision, monitoring of contractor’s quarrying and aggregate production facilities, Batching/ Mixing Plants, Hot Mix Plants and entire process control, Sub-grade strength evaluation and pavement designs; Prepared reports on statistical analysis for quality control and quality system documentation. He is responsible for supervising all the tests to be done in different stages of construction, besides ensuring that specified tests are done as per codal stipulations and specifications laid down in the contract for all the different stages of construction and coordinated & controlled support personnel in discharging his duties. He has thorough understanding and experience with international best practices, modern highway construction technology and procurement procedures. Worked as Material Engineer, establishing quality assurance programmes for rigid and flexible pavement and fully aware with construction methodologies, material properties of PQC/Flexible road construction materials and laboratory equipments, material tests and quality assurance in accordance with IRC/AASHTO/BIS/IS standards. He is also familiar with material property of road construction material, technical specifications and procedures of material tests and testing equipments.
