About Atash Tabarestani

I’m an Operations & Geotechnical Manager based in Perth, Western Australia, currently leading the Geotechnical Division at The Division Group. With over 9 years of experience across major infrastructure and residential projects, I blend geotechnical analysis with hands-on civil operations to deliver practical, cost-effective, and safe outcomes.I have led and scoped complex site investigations across WA, including boreholes, CPTs, test pits, groundwater studies, retaining wall assessments and piling assessments. My past experience includes high-profile transport infrastructure projects like Metronet (Thornlie–Cockburn Link, Yanchep Rail), the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR), Causeway Pedestrian Bridge and several major infrastructure and road upgrades across Western Australia and Queensland. Now, I have expanded into operations overseeing earthworks, demolition, and site logistics, while embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems into our workflows for streamlined dockets, cost tracking, compliance, and geotechnical reporting automation with heavy focus on QA/QC processes. My focus is bridging field realities with smart engineering, using both boots-on-ground experience and emerging technology to raise the bar for project delivery.
