Dual-trained Haemato-oncologist and Immunologist with a goal to exploit the power of the immune system to cure life-threatening diseases. My academic research career spanned the basic sciences, translational medicine, and clinical trials, with an emphasis on leveraging a deep mechanistic understanding of the tumor immune microenvironment to tackle blood cancers. I have experience designing and leading both clinical trials and large translational clinical studies across the fields of Viral Immunology, Cancer Immunology, and Autoimmunity. In my "spare" time, I enjoy amateur botany, arts'n'crafts, and training our rambunctious Labrador puppy Kevin.
