About Atharva Mohite

I’m a software engineer with experience building backend systems that handle scale, reduce costs, and simplify legacy systems. At JP Morgan Chase, I have worked on updating trade settlement systems, designing microservices, and migrating infrastructure to Kubernetes. These projects have been critical to decommissioning legacy systems and reducing infrastructure expenses. My focus is on backend architecture, distributed systems, and internal tools that help improve developer productivity. I have also developed reusable UI components, worked with event-driven technologies like Kafka and GraphQL, and designed search-oriented services using Elasticsearch. Outside of work, I have published research in machine learning and computer vision and participated in national and internal hackathons. I am interested in building systems that are efficient, reliable, and maintainable, and collaborating with others who value the same.
