Background

About Athena Rospo

I am a recent graduate of Lake Washington Institute of Technology, in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program in June 2024. I have a vast array of experiences in both technical and interpersonal arenas with people of all ages, from a host of different cultures, who use varied communication styles to include various neuro diversities. My philosophy is always meet people where they are at, happily, and see what I can do to help them along in their journey. I truly believe that my life is enriched by all of my experiences, even the struggles. I have found a position to gain unique opportunities to gain experience towards my goal of becoming a COTA, especially with children with lagging skills and unsolved problems. I delight in their enthusiasm and find joy in encouraging fellow parents who are on that journey to regard it as a marathon, not a sprint.
