About Atif Javed

I am a research assistant at MEET Battery Research Center and a Ph.D. candidate in electrochemistry at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, with anticipated graduation in May 2024. My research focus is on developing cathode active material interphase through innovative coatings for enhanced electrochemical performance and safety properties of lithium-ion batteries. I have a master's degree in Functionalized Advanced Materials Engineering from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree Program, where I conducted research on solid-state batteries at TU Darmstadt, Germany, and on cathode active material synthesis at University of Grenoble Alpes/ICMCB Bordeaux, France. I have also published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at international conferences. I am well-versed in teamwork, communication, and intercultural skills, thanks to my diverse educational and professional experiences. I am excited about the intersection of academia and industry, and eager to contribute my expertise to battery research and development.
