About Atis Hermanis

I am a technical guy at heart with a research background and Ph.D. related to electronics, sensor systems, and signal processing. My interest can be caught with ideas that involve engaging applications and challenging solutions. I am eager to apply my technical knowledge to real-world problems, to do this I am always looking to widen my experience. As an example, I have graduated business accelerators such as Startup Sauna (Finland) and Buildit (Estonia). At the same time, I am passionate about sports and physical activities. I particularly enjoy doing action sports like kiteboarding, snowboarding, and BMX. In my current venture HackMotion, we use wearable sensors to provide feedback and tips to hobby athletes for faster improvement and engagement. This is a perfect opportunity to combine my technical background and the passion for physical activities making me a very involved and motivated team leader.
