About Atma Deep D.

I am presently pursuing Masters in Urban Planning programme at the Faculty of Planning, Centre for Environment Technology and Planning (CEPT) from Monsoon 2021. I have worked as a coach and educational mentor at Unacademy for the NTA UGC NET Category and was handling students of Paper I and Paper II - Geography of NTA UGC NET. I am also a national level topper in Geography in the NTA UGC NET examination held in June 2020. I have also held the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Land Resources, Utilities and Infrastructure (LRUI) Division of Punjab Remote Sensing Centre (PRSC). I am the winner of the ESRI Young India Scholar Program 2020. I am an independent researcher and my research articles have been published in the form of book chapters and conference papers by Springer. I have also presented my research papers at a number of international and national conferences and seminars. I have done my Master's in Geoinformatics from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. During my Masters, I worked as a winter intern at National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organisation (NATMO). I have also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Geospatial Technology Applications in Rural Development (PGDGARD) from the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (NIRD & PR), Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India (GoI), Hyderabad, Telangana.I love to learn new things. I am an expert in software viz. Microsoft Office, Agisoft Metashape Professional, Meshlabs, Fragstats, FLUS, ArcGIS, Erdas Imagine, ENVI, QGIS, DivaGIS, ModelMuse, SNAP, Cisco Pocket Tracer. I am quite experienced in several programming languages viz. C, C++, Java, SQL and HTML. I have worked as Field Officer for three months for the Government of West Bengal in the Project "Survey on Old Age, Widow and Disability Pension" which was conducted by the Bureau of Applied Economics, Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
