About Atsushi Tanase

With over 40 years of experience in global drug development, I have dedicated my career to improving the quality of life for patients suffering from various diseases. Throughout my time in global pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and bio-venture companies, I have worked closely with colleagues to ensure compassionate care for patients and their families. I am proud to have led several successful projects, including the launches of Protopic (tacrolimus or FK506 ointment) in the US, EU, and Japan, as well as Nexium, Lynpaza (olaparib), and Amenalief (amenamevir) in Japan. Additionally, I have been involved in numerous clinical trials and regulatory meetings in Japan, the US, and Europe. Currently, I am part of a team building an expert platform that provides flexible and cost-effective support to both bio-venture companies and large corporations in the healthcare industry. Our platform is unique as we are one of the first companies to offer access to experts outside of our organization. These experts include senior professionals, freelancers, and side-business experts, each with specialized skill sets. I am passionate about continuing to contribute my experience and expertise to our industry's growth and evolution, and I am excited to be a part of this innovative platform.
