About Atul Pratap

With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, I am a seasoned leader and strategist in managing collections and recovery for various portfolios, including commercial vehicles, construction equipment, auto loans, two-wheelers loans, tractor loans, personal loans & SME loans. I currently head the collections department at Hinduja Leyland Finance, where I oversee a 30K Cr portfolio and a 4K+ team of professionals. My core competencies include designing and executing innovative products, quality sourcing, delinquency management, channel management, compliance and audit, budgeting and planning, and team management. I leverage analytics, artificial intelligence, and customer-centric solutions to increase collections, reduce NPAs, prevent defaults, dispose of repo stocks, and manage securitized pools. I am passionate about building profitable AUM, delivering net interest margins, and creating value propositions for customers and stakeholders.
