About Audrey Anderson

My name is Audrey Anderson and I have my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida. I completed my capstone project at Transitions Life Center which is an adult day care center for special needs adults in Ocala. The focus of my capstone was increasing functional participation across contexts. I am currently employed at Advent Health Orlando main campus in Acute care. I work with a variety of populations including Neuro ICU, Neuro PCU, abdominal surgery, abdominal transplants, Oncology, and inpatient psychiatric patients. I am also cross trained in pediatrics and am working on becoming a certified lactation consultant. I have previous work experiences in administration and equine therapy at North Florida School of Special education, management at Lake Aurora Christian Camp and Retreat center, and am a certified lifeguard. I look forward to continuing my professional development in the field of Occupational Therapy.
