About Audrey Augustave

Audrey is a psychotherapist who specializes in working with high conflict couples in sexless marriages, co-parents, and individuals going through major life transitions. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor, a Gottman Trained couples therapist and currently completing formal sex therapy certification with Sexual Health Alliance. Audrey has served adults, couples, and families in private practice as well as methadone clinicans and in-patient facities. Dedicated to quality mental health care, Audrey currently trains all new incoming clinicians at the group practice she is currently employed on improving their couples therapy skils and runs a clinical supervision group helping clinicians work through potential biases and limitations in the care they provide. Audrey has been asked to sit on several panels, presentations, and podcasts to discuss a variety of mental health topics. She has also had the distinct honor of serving a diverse popultion of students as an Adjunct professor in the Psych department of Union County College. With a passion to bring her clinical expertise to the Caribbean landscape, Audrey has created a podcast: Un-Loc'd that explores mental health and identify related topics through the Caribbean lens. In addition to sharing first hand accounts of relatable topics, this podcast also serves as a space to educate its listeners about quality therapy practices.
