I am interested in the interactions between social justice, environmental law, and Indigenous rights. I seek to support tribes to further self-determination in critical areas, especially tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, and natural resource protection. I am also aware of the potential for natural resources development to support economic development in Indian Country as one piece of self-determination and am curious about myriad Indigenous priorities around natural resources, particularly water resources. I have experience in Washington state environmental law and municipal land use law advising government agencies on interpreting and enforcing land use law and zoning code in compliance with state laws.
