About Audrey Desiderato
I am French-Indonesian, have lived in 12 countries and currently call Nairobi "home". In 2012, I co-founded SunFunder with my brilliant partner Ryan Levinson to fill the debt financing gap preventing distributed solar solutions from scaling. Growing in lockstep with the sector, we financed 60+ companies the majority of which in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2022 we were acquired by Mirova, a leading impact asset manager based in France. As of July 2025, I am on a career break to reflect and figure out what's next!
