It has been my passion to work with those who are struggling from a mental illness or with substance abuse. I personally feel rewarded when a patient is able to move forward in life. When an individual comes to someone in distress or a crisis, it is imperative as a clinician that we are willing to listen and hear what is not being said. Sometimes that is the core belief of "I am unlovable or unlikable". My passion is to assist individuals in getting emotionally stable while working on rebuilding their own self-confidence and self-esteem. I love what I do. Helping individuals indirectly helps me. Our world benefits greatly when we see things from a different perspective and mindset of helping others which assists us in helping ourselves.
