About Audrey G.

I attended the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign iSchool, earning my Masters in Library and Information Sciences, graduating in Summer 2020. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May 2015 with a BA in history and minors in German as well as women and gender studies. It is my career goal to work in a library. I enjoyed visiting them as a child, and they are what fostered my love of reading. I would love to help bring that interest to other people and introduce them to new concepts and ways of thought.I am a hard worker who is willing to work in the area that would be most beneficial to you. I work well both independently and as part of a team. I have experience grant writing, working in a library, as well as museum collections, conservation, and visitor information. I also have experience indexing, and designing and collecting an exhibit. In my time in Collections I have handled artifacts, and have knowledge of best museum practices in object care and handling, as well as experience in collections digitization. I am proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and have experience with KeEmu and Mimsy.
