About Audrey Henderson

I am a motivated, determined and reliable individual who is naturally multitask oriented, organized, responsible and extremely eager to design! Due to my long experience as a product developer, graphic & technical fashion designer, I uphold impeccable ability to create both hand-sketched or computerized designs via Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. It has always been my passion to become a creator; someone who could take nothing, and transform it into everything. I manage to continually improve my skills by remaining upbeat in the world of fashion and simultaneously innovative when forecasting trends. I also enjoy constructive criticism from friends/peers/colleagues, as I am a firm believer in the idea that we can all grow and become better in anything we do on a daily basis. I'm a team player! And with the ample knowledge that I possess in regards to the use of textiles/fabrics, trims/materials, pattern making, garment construction and production, I am confident that I would be a great addition to almost any design team out there :) In addition to my fast learning skills, I am detail-oriented and focused on any task given to me. In 2014, I obtained my AA Degree in Merchandising Product Development at FIDM, receiving an academic scholarship during my third quarter of attendance. A year later, I went back to school to complete the Bachelor of Science program in Apparel Technical Design, procuring my second degree in June 2017. However in the midst, I developed great proficiency in use of the Gerber Technology System by learning to develop patterns from scratch and also through a digitizing machine. I've mastered use of all Adobe CS6, CS7 and Creative Cloud programs, excelling in the production of effective tech packs and correlating 2D/3D computerized sketches to conceptualize final product goal.
