Over the years I have won several awards for my work as news and multimedia producer, which I began doing in the mid-80's. My strengths include media production and management, such as video editing, managing podcasts, project management, creating and editing media, and client relations. I was news director for a 5-person public radio news team and local host of All Things Considered. I managed daily news assignments, edited reporters' scripts and web posts, researched and conducted interviews, edited and mixed audio. I managed a number of computer networks and served on-call for station operations needs. I was producer and writer for SCETV and SCERN, the public radio and television network in South Carolina. I produced the nationally-syndicated and award-winning series, Nuremberg Revisited, about the Nuremberg war crimes trials after World War II, featuring many of the prosecutors from those trials. I hosted many programs and engineered several others, including live music programs and call-in talk shows.
