About Audrey Mueller

Hello! I'm a third-year student at the University of Missouri studying English with minors in I.T. and German. I have experience with writing in a wide variety of styles and contexts. I've worked as a peer writing tutor, copy editor for the Maneater, and editorial intern at Persea Books, a poetry press based in New York City. These roles have taught me to read quickly and precisely, to communicate the essentials of a text to others, and to identify and deconstruct problem areas. I've served as secretary, director, and head writer for Shot Reverse Shot, MU's student filmmaking organization. Within the club, I was the show-runner for my own 20-minute drama and oversaw the project from start to finish, including writing, casting, production, and editing. In these positions, I became adept at project management, learned to operate industry-standard film equipment, and honed my skills with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. I enjoy working collaboratively, and I'm good at applying analytical thinking to creative endeavors. My I.T. minor, my filmmaking experience, and my focus area within my major — Film & Digital Studies — have made me especially interested in emerging media and digital content creation.
