Having completed an accelerated bachelor’s and master’s degree program in English at Boston University, I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of disseminating knowledge. With extensive experience in publishing and copyediting, I have demonstrated leadership in managing editorial processes of academic journals and books. In my current role as Senior Publications Associate at the American Educational Research Association and Managing Editor of Educational Researcher, I oversee nearly manuscript submissions annually, coordinating every stage from submission to decision. I collaborate closely with authors, reviewers, and editorial teams to resolve issues, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless journal operations. Additionally, I am the primary contact for the managing editors of AERA’s six other journals, providing training and ongoing guidance. I thrive in dynamic environments where attention to detail and clear communication are essential, and I am eager to continue leveraging my skills, expertise, and passion to make a meaningful impact in scholarly publishing and the nonprofit sector.
