About August Melvin
Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated with how things work. I have been taking things apart and reassembling them since I could turn a screwdriver. I have been practicing my skills to become a mechanical engineer, by using CAD(Computer Aided Design) software as well as tools such as HSM(High Speed Machining) for CAM(Computer Aided Design software), I have learned how to design parts for manufacturability. Along with this, I have learned many skills from my internship at Cito Medical. I have had many design reviews as well as brainstorming sessions, along with these I have gotten the opportunity to ask questions about designs and assemblies for thermoforming, CNC Milling, 3D printing, and even injection molding. With these skills I have only furthered my understanding of mechanical engineering, as well opening my eyes to other opportunities in the industrial and manufacturing engineering fields.
