I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Environmental Sciences, which provided me with a strong background in understanding complex environmental issues. As an active member of the Health and Safety Committee with my local union (CUPE 2950) and the Sustainability Coordinator for my working unit, I am passionate about creating safer, healthier, and more sustainable environments. My career aspiration is to transition into occupational health and safety or environmental health and safety, where I can leverage my academic background and practical experience to make a meaningful impact. Currently, I am building my inclusive practice through my role as an Exam Coordinator at the University of British Columbia. My work involves overseeing all aspects of accommodated exams for students with disabilities, and supervising a team of unionized invigilator.
