About Augusto Jacquier

I'm a senior graphic designer and illustrator with a strong focus on –and keen interest in– everything digital. With a background in film & TV, and having done a bit of everything over the years –from running a literary magazine to doing special FX make-up –, the last decade has seen me shift focus and join the ranks of agency design, where I have been lucky to work with a bunch of remarkable humans across a number of clients on projects of all kinds. For the past 5+ years, I've been leading the Studio team at Isobar Melbourne, helping designers, animators, videographers, and developers deliver high-quality work in partnership with internal and external creatives. A regular day for me includes any (though often all) of the following: concepting and executing creative work (be it design, illustration, photography, or video), liaising with the client before, during, and after the completion of any one project; managing Studio traffic and resource allocation; running WIPs for current work, identifying potential blockers and engaging with other stakeholders when escalation is appropriate; having 1:1s with my team, helping guide individual performance and career progression; and setting up and refining processes to create efficiencies and improve the quality of our creative output. Some of the clients I’ve worked for include Disney, 7-Eleven, Swinburne University, Village Roadshow, PayPal, ANZ, RMIT, Uniqlo, Dulux, Coles, Medibank, Westpac, nib, Google, SAP, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Foxtel, Vinnies, Xero, Kmart, Sanitarium, and GE. My weapon of choice is the Adobe Creative Suite, along with other complementary tools such as Figma, Procreate, and even Google Slides. I’m obsessed with Disney. I love ice-cream.
