About Augusto Rupay
I'm Augusto (Tony), from Queens NY. I'm an optician turned developer with an extensive skill set that covers several programming languages and technologies including, but not limited to, React, Node.JS, JavaScript, SQL, C++, JSON, CSS, E2E Testing, HTML, AWS, and more. In parallel to my tech interests, I've also developed an web app Yumtrucks, a NYC-based foodtruck locator. A passion project, exercising key web application development fundamentals, database management, user interface design, and end to end testing. Always eager to learn what's under the hood, I recently completed a NYU Tandon's Networking Systems / Operating Systems Bridge Course, and am currently exploring more granular virtual system, container, and scaling archetypes through AWS Services. My ultimate goal is to leverage my skills and interests to make impactful contributions to projects that seek to transform and disrupt existing archtypes.
