About Augustus Ceccucci

My passion for entertainment began with an intense appreciation for the storytelling process that, in turn, blossoms into the collaborative nature of the art form. I have actively chased a career in that process since media can ultimately achieve a positive cultural impact through telling authentic, specific stories that can often become universal. More recently, my time at Is Or Isn't Entertainment, under the direction of Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky, has provided several opportunities to work in the TV and digital space. I followed two of our scripted web projects (SHITTY BOYFRIENDS and CAMPUS CATWALK) from pitch to release date through our deal at New Form Digital. I also had the privilege to work on the second and third seasons of IT GOT BETTER, a docuseries chronicling the coming out stories for beloved LGBTQ+ heroes within my credited role as associate producer. These projects were produced to speak to minority ears, but time and again, I also saw a positive response from groups of viewers who did not have to live through those specific experiences to bond with those stories. I pride myself on my encyclopedic knowledge of media using that passion for tracking up and coming writers, directors and on-camera talent while culling through potential available IP for projects. Furthermore, I am always actively meeting with talent, creative execs and representation at all levels before and after office hours to securely build my networking relationships. In addition, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am extremely cognizant of the necessity of showcasing many voices from different ethnic, socioeconomic and other backgrounds to lend legitimacy to storytelling.
