About Aurelia Driver

Digital video and television producer and writer with a 25-year track record across a wide range of formats, and skills in management and visual story-telling. In my current role as Head of Content at seen.tv, I lead a team of journalists and video editors to execture a rigorous publishing schedule across 10 content verticals, for an audience of 7 million subscribers, achieving 1 billion views in 2022. As a producer, I co-founded and led Monkey Films (monkeyfilms.co.za), one of South Africa’s most successful production facilitation companies, and produced over 300 commercials and music promos for leading global directors and production companies, handling crew, gear, talent, locations, accounting and legal, throughout South Africa, and in Mozambique and Namibia. I produced a crowd-funded feature film–an adaption of Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. “Boy Called Twist” was selected for screening at Cannes 2005 (official selection Tous les Cinema du Monde). Prior to running Monkey Films, I have line producing credits that include ground-breaking South African TV series, “Yizo Yizo”, educational drama, “East Side”, French feature film “Les Enfants du Karoo”, 3-part documentary "If Truth Be Told", as well as commercials shot in Chile and Brazil.
