About Aurelien Keraron

I am interested in applying for a position in one of the most reputable schools across the world. After working as a Physical Education teacher in the Middle East for over 10 years in the French educational system, I wish to integrate into the British educational system and complete my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) degree within the next year. The way I go about teaching aims to promote learning through social and intellectual development of my students, along with enhancing their level of solidarity and autonomy. I accept each student for who they are; I also challenge them to improve, develop and reach the best versions of themselves. It is important that students actually enjoy their time in class, and that they are motivated to progress within the group. That is why their well-being is essential when it comes to learning. My rich cross-cultural experience in the sports field and my wide range of skills allow me to incorporate different ways and strategies on providing the right learning environment that enables students to reach their full potential. Ultimately, through my teaching, I aim to enhance my students’ approach and outlook on life. I adapt very easily, I have worked as a math teacher, a PE teacher, a specialized educator, socio-educational facilitator, a director of a youth camp – to name a few. As a person, I have passion about outdoor activities, hiking, climbing, trekking, Judo, yoga – to name a few. I am also a certified Judo/Yoga/climbing instructor. I love working with young children and have them enjoy learning. With my communication skills, my dedication, my positive energy and my ability to work effectively in cross-cultural situations, I believe that I can be a valuable asset to your school.
