About Aurelio Almonte

I am a Founder Partner of Small Business Community Capital (“SBCC”), an SBIC investment fund focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. I oversee business development, deal sourcing, and all aspects of origination and credit throughout the investment cycle—including initial screening, structuring, documentation, negotiation, compliance with internal investment guidelines, and exit strategies. Additionally, I serve as a member of SBCC’s Investment Committee and sit on the Board of Directors for multiple portfolio companies. I have a broad range of investment experience across various debt and equity classes, both in the U.S. and in Latin America. Prior to SBCC, I co-founded and led Savile Finance Group (SFG), a direct investment lending program that specialized in cross-border trade and expansion financing for Latin American and U.S. borrowers. I have also trained and worked with some of the leading global credit investment firms, where I developed my skills in portfolio management, risk analysis, and deal structuring. My mission is to help entrepreneurs and business owners access capital and opportunities that can fuel their growth and success.
