Based in Rome, Aurelio Regina focuses on executive search for communication, public affairs, and investor relations leaders. He is a trusted advisor in board consulting and leadership development for industrial as well as service sector clients. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Aurelio was Director of Corporate Affairs with Philip Morris Companies in Rome and President and Managing Director of the Italian Affiliate of Philip Morris Corporate Services Inc, where he managed all corporate matters in Italy related to the US conglomerate’s food and tobacco business. Previously, Aurelio was Manager of Communications and Relations with Public Institutions and Legislative Studies for Procter & Gamble Group in Rome, responsible for the Italian subsidiary’s corporate communications and public affairs. Aurelio earned a BA in International Political Science at LUISS University in Rome, and a Master in Science and Technology of Law from the Instituto Superiore di Studi Legislativi in Rome. He served as Vice President for Economic Development of Confindustria, the Italian General Business Industry Association, and was President of the Industrialist Association of Rome and Lazio and President of Fondazione Musica per Roma, a nonprofit organization that manages all performances at the renowned Auditorium of Arts and Music in Rome. He is currently Delegate for Energy of Confindustria, the Italian Industrialists’ Association, President of Sisal S.p.A. and Sisal Lottery S.p.A.(Italian companies operating in the gambling and betting industry), President of Fondimpresa (Training and Development Interprofessional Fund of Confindustria, CGIL, CISL and UIL), President of Defence Tech S.p.A.(Group focusing on cyber security, big data, intelligence and national defence), Vice President of Manifatture Sigaro Toscano S.p.A.(manufacturing, marketing and distributing Sigaro Toscano, a historic Italian product since 1815), President of Cerved Information Solutions S.p.A.(leading Information Provider in Italy and one of the main rating agencies in Europe) and Board Member of Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A.(Italian leader Digital Transformation Company). In 2019 he was appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
