About Aurimas Ragulis

whoami | grep "only the interesting parts"I volunteered for 6 years at a youth organisation, where I was able to try on many different hats, including IT admin, scrum master & product manager. This lead me to develop foundational soft skills, such as time management, effective communication, leadership and others, which are now I believe crucial to any career.Once I started studying, I realized just programming isn't what I want to do in the long-term. Thankfully, I was able to (shortly after watching Mr. Robot) learn about the glorious field of cybersecurity. Everyday I'm learning more and more about this niche (for real - check my TryHackMe profile) and looking to gain experience for a cybersecurity position. However, I strongly believe that strong foundations make or break an excellent specialist. That's why I'm focusing on infrastructure. My experience ranges from Active Directory and Microsoft Entra sysadmin work to currently Redis, Ceph, memcached and similar storage solution engineering at Vinted. If you see we have anything in common, let's chat!
