About Aurora Lin

Aurora is a Graduate Landscape Architect with international experience across Taiwan, Japan and Australia. Over the past 5 years, Aurora has contributed to a diverse range of public and urban scale projects, including social housing, civic plazas, community parks, playgrounds, and cultural landscapes, with responsibilities spanning site analysis, CAD documentation, 3D modelling, and multi-phase design development.Through these experiences, Aurora has developed a strong foundation in place-responsive thinking and material expression. She is particularly drawn to human-scaled landscapes, spaces such as pocket parks, urban plazas, and domestic gardens, where planting, surface textures, and light can shape intimate and meaningful daily encounters. Her design approach integrates ecological sensitivity with spatial rhythm, informed by research in sensory design, site regeneration, and temporal change in landscape environments. Now based in Melbourne, Aurora is actively seeking opportunities with studios that focus on thoughtful, medium to small-scale, people-oriented design, where detail and atmosphere are treated as essential to landscape architecture.
