Currently pursuing several Professional Certifications for Data Science and Genomics/Biological Data analysis. Completed MicroMasters in Bioinformatics and Professional Certifications in Python for Data Science. Completed a M.S. in Forensic DNA & Serology through University of Florida and have two and half years of courses in Registered Nursing. Completed a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular Biology at UT Austin with a focus on infectious diseases and immunology, and a B.A. in Japanese Language and Culture. Four years experience as lead GCMS, GC and HPLC method developer for a private research company. Analyzed complex mixtures and novel materials from biological extracts for bioaccumulation potential in a variety of model organisms including fish species, mammalian species, and some reptilian species. Performed purity and concentration analysis via GC-FID, residual water analysis by Karl Fischer, identity, purity, and concentration analysis by GCMS, and residual solvent analysis by GCFID Headspace on high-purity reference standards for research, pharmaceutical, and forensic applications. Performed analytical testing on crude petroleum products using GC FID, TLC FID, and Rheometers for an environmental bioremediation company. Two years experience performing quality assurance testing on IV solution products, using various Analytical Chemistry techniques: HPLC, flame photometry, osmette, Total Organic Carbon analyzer, titration, pH meter, polarimeter, UV/VIS spectrophotometer, auto-titrators, conductivity meters. Six months experience performing bacterial culture and Gen-Probe analysis of clinical samples. Two and half years experience working in clinical laboratories performing GCMS analysis on human metabolites.
