Background
About Aurora Santana
Professionally, I have been enthusiastic about helping young people improve their lives both academically and personally. I have taught SEL techniques to high risk students ages 10 - 25 to help them improve everything from self esteem, to fostering better relationships to time management and organization. I teach to everyone by approaching the various learning modalities with creative, engaging, interactive and interesting lessons. I earnestly believe that teaching is about first building relationships. Teaching Science is about being a constant learner who is always finding the newest and latest research. Personally I am very interested in preserving our environment and sharing what I know with young people, I love to camp (rustic camping being my favorite), the beach, hiking in the mountains, reading, jewelry making, sewing, crocheting and spending time with my family and friends cooking and playing games.
