About Ausha Jackson

Ausha Jackson is a performance-driven professional with a reputation for making things happen. Ausha has a proven track record of organizational and community leadership with over 20 years of experience in Business Education, Community and Workforce Development, Training and Development, and Entrepreneurship. Ausha's personal experiences growing up in poverty and becoming a teen mother inspired her career and passion for empowering others. Despite her early obstacles, Ausha went on to graduate in the top 5% of her high school class, obtain three degrees, and start several successful businesses. She has used her personal trials and triumphs to educate and empower students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other teen parents to finish high school, pursue post-secondary education, and start their own businesses. Ausha's early community involvement and servant leadership caught the attention of the President & CEO of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, she was offered the opportunity to lead a unique, high-impact initiative, called Strive2Thrive (S2T), a former chapter of Circles USA, which focuses on eradicating poverty and strengthening the quality of Southwest Georgia’s workforce. Ausha served as the Executive Director of S2T for four years, where she led her team to win the highest award for American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), and was recognized nationally for the way she and her team built intentional relationships across race and class lines to end poverty. Ausha then went on to become the National Training Director for Circles USA where she helped launch, train, and develop over 75 chapters across the USA and Canada to remove economic barriers and reduce poverty. Ausha currently works as a Faculty Member/Program Mentor for the College of Business at Western Governors University. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker, team leader, business owner, and motivational speaker in the Greater Atlanta Area.
