About Austen Cannon

Hello. My name is Austen Cannon and I am currently a student-athlete in the Herbert Business School at the University of Miami expecting to graduate in May 2025. I am majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Investing is my passion. Real Estate interests me because while pursuing financial investments, I can also help change communities by investing in buildings and people. During high school, I was introduced to the stock market and began investing in my own stock portfolio. While investing in stocks, I became intrigued in other ways that I could obtain assets to start building wealth, and real estate instantly piqued my interest. The opportunities to own properties and land that accumulate capital, collect income through rent, and aid people by renovating communities’ properties and land seemed like the ideal future for me. In conclusion, I have decided to pursue real estate so that I can accumulate wealth through investing in assets and aid various communities. I enjoy going on runs, investing in stocks, reading, and watching anime in my spare time. My goal in life is to become wealthy while I am young and to travel across the world so that I can enjoy everything the world has to offer.
