About Austin Brown

I have most recently worked as a sales associate for Floor and Decor and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Sports and fitness administration at the University of Houston. I have taken classes across a wide variety of business topics within the Neeley School of Business such as Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Accounting. I always strive to work hard and learn new things everyday in both my professional and personal life, and am always eager to tackle new challenges. I have previously worked as an intern for Q investments, an investment firm in Fort Worth, collecting financial information and completing various research projects relevant to the investments of the firm. My goal is to work towards starting my career in the sports business/management industry but am open to any new and exciting opportunities that come my way. I am passionate about sports and the impact it has on both those who participate and watch it, and for this reason I am excited to begin my career in the sports field. In my education I have taken classes that have taught me more about many topics in the field such as Sports Administration Principles, Legal Aspects of Sport, Sports Development Practices, and Effective Negotiation. I look forward to and am excited for any opportunities I find that can help me to begin my career in this exciting field.
