Since joining a costs drafting firm I learned the trade and honed my skills as a Costs Draftsman I went on to actively manage my own caseload and successfully conclude several high value cases dealing with cases from bill preparation to conclusion. Since joining a costs firm in I witnessed the company expand from just 4 staff and a small office to over 20 staff and a large purpose built office seeing turnover quadruple over a relatively short amount of time. During this transitional period I was promoted to Operations Manager which meant that, while I still had a small caseload of the more complex cases. I was also responsible for client relationship management, improvement of customer satisfaction, external communications & brand development and management.I left the firm in November 2015 and have now begun a new venture as a joint partner of a new costs firm (Bespoke Costs Limited) with the aim of providing a professional and personal costs drafting service to our clients.
