I am a pivotal member of our firm's audit department, where my role involves overseeing assurance practices across various sectors including hospitality, gaming, retail, and employee benefit plans. My responsibilities encompass guiding new client onboarding, managing review and audit services, and nurturing strong client relationships. Since I joined the team in 2014, I've played a significant role in doubling the size of our retirement plan audit practice and establishing our firm's hospitality niche group. I have expertise in navigating new accounting and auditing standards like revenue recognition and leases. Leading our firm's Forgiveness Program team has been a highlight of my career here. Additionally, I actively contribute to staff recruiting and development within the audit department. In every client engagement, I prioritize empathy and understanding, recognizing the challenges that audit services can pose. My team and I strive to simplify the process, offering support and education in complex accounting areas while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that each engagement is conducted with excellence and that our clients feel confident in the outcomes.
