About Austin Howe

I have experience in both, the medical as well as the security field. I currently run a free online trauma training program ( Mosul Medic). I was a volunteer medic with Iraqi Special Operations Forces ( ISOF) during the largest humanitarian crises since WW2. You can view my teams accomplishments on the A&E documentary " Hunting ISIS". You can also see first person view of my hands on experience on my training channel " Mosul Medic". In the Marine Corps I was an 0311 ( Rifleman). I deployed to Afghanistan as a pointman during Operation Rawhide 1 and 2. Later I was sent to New Zealand to assist in training the New Zealand Defense Force ( NZDF) in reconnaissance and searching/clearing procedures. Along the way I became proficient in using Unmanned Ariel Vehicles such as the Raven-B. In my civilian career, I graduated in the presidential honor roll from Mount San Jacinto Community College. Here I majored in Political Science. Along the way I also became a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician ( EMT). I am a living Kidney donor and living donor advocate.
