m Austin McDaniel, with a background in military leadership, renewable energy, and real-time data systems for the power grid. Based in Placerville, CA, I bring hands-on experience in systems integration, communications troubleshooting, and grid operations support—especially within the context of CAISO compliance.I served five years in the U.S. Army, earning the rank of Sergeant. That time strengthened my leadership, discipline, and ability to stay focused under pressure. After transitioning out of the military, I worked as a Wind Turbine Technician, where I specialized in troubleshooting AC/DC systems and using SCADA platforms to monitor and control turbine performance. At Trimark Associates, I work on utility-scale renewable energy projects, focusing on DNP3 and Modbus communication troubleshooting and configuring real-time information gateways. My role includes ensuring sites meet CAISO’s requirements for AGC (Automatic Generation Control) and ADS (Automated Dispatch System). I also develop point lists and communication block diagrams, and coordinate closely with customer SCADA teams to maintain site compliance and data integrity
