About Austin Mills

Currently Austin is an MBA Candidate at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management class of 2026 and a Bass Military Scholar. Austin spent the first 8 years of his professional career as an active duty Army Logistics Officer. During that time he became skilled in leading teams, both large and small, to achieve specific results. Austin has earned his Project Management Professional Certification and has managed multiple portfolios across complex stressful environments simultaneously. Following his Army career he transitioned into the start up space where he began managing partnerships for Sisu Sauna. His role focuses on relationship building. Aside from the relationships he works on creating the strategy for engagement and growth. Every now and then you will catch Austin traveling to meet new ambassadors where ever they are to actually build their sauna with them. He might not tell you this but that is actually his favorite part. From working in the sauna company Austin found himself assisting on the set of a podcast called, Beat The Heat. The premise of the podcast is that guests enter the sauna with it at 160 degrees and every 5 minutes the temperature increases 10 degrees. If guests can last 30 minutes, with the sauna reaching temperatures of 230 degrees, they "beat the heat."
