About Austin Pearson

I am a highly motivated professional enrolled in a military-grade network engineering bootcamp. I am actively working toward three certifications, including the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Currently, I am gaining hands-on experience in Network Architecture and Routing protocols, which are skills I am tested on routinely. Outside of class I am learning Linux and Python to add to my list of skills with a goal to be a well rounded professional in the industry. Before making the transition into this program, I was in the Customer Service/Sales industry where I was able to gather valuable experience in management, working with a team as well as alone, and engaging with both customers and vendors alike. Throughout my career I have always demonstrated the ability to learn fast and adapt well to new environments with an eagerness for growth. Outside of my full-time study schedule and work, I enjoy learning new skills, engaging in outdoor activities, and reading many kinds of books. Beginning in the Summer of 2021, I will be actively seeking a full-time position as a Network Engineer. I welcome connections of all kinds to grow my network in the IT field.
